It really takes a village.

We're so grateful to the hundreds of community members and chefs who showed up to make this year's event a success. Every dollar we raised will go directly back to ensuring we can meet our neighbors' housing, utility, food, and health needs. See you in 2027.

The Challenge

For one night each year, some of Charleston’s best chefs come together to create a gourmet multicourse meal with a twist. Every dish uses food typically found in our pantry.

Covenant House partners with the Carver Career Center Culinary Arts Program to create meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities for local students. Through Chef’s Challenge, students work alongside celebrity chefs and culinary professionals, gaining real-world experience while helping shape the future of Charleston’s food community.
